Cochin to Munnar

Morning after breakfast checkout from the hotel then, proceed to Munnar –The beautiful hill station was one of the summer capital of British Government in India. The never ending vast expanse of tea plantation and the round the year moderate climate makes it a little haven for visitors.

Visiting time: 6am -6pm.

· Valara waterfalls

· Tata Tea Museum

Visiting Time: 9am -4pm. (Closed on Monday and Closed on Wednesday during July and August 2024).

· Rajamalai

The house of highly endangered mountain goats and Nilgiri Thars.

Entry fee: 200/- per person for adult, 150/- for child, 500/- for foreign, 50/- for still camera and 350/- for video camera.

Timings: 8 AM – 4.30 PM Closed from 1st Feb to 31st March.
Overnight stay at Munnar.

Munnar
Morning after breakfasts proceed to Munnar sightseeing.
· Mattupetty Dam
Visiting time: 9.30am-5pm. Boating is available here.
Ordinary Boat: 300/- for 1-5 Pax 15 minutes.

Speed Boat: 500/- for 1-5 Pax 15 minutes
Big Boat: 700/- for 20 Pax 30minutes.
· Echo point
Visiting time: 7am – 6pm.Entry fee: 30/- .Photography and trekking is available here. Trekking time would not exceed 2 hrs.

· Kundala Lake

· Blossom Park

Visiting Time: 9am -7pm.Entry Fee: 50/- per person. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Munnar to Thekkady
Morning after breakfast checkout from the hotel then, proceed to Thekkady – Periyar Lake around the sanctuary is built, for boating. This is the only sanctuary in India, where you can have the unique experience of viewing wild life at close quarters from the safety of boat.
· Jungle safari

On Optional cost – 3500/- per person up to 6 Pax in a jeep (Note: Forest entrance is not included.50/- for Indians & 500/- for foreigners. (Will be extra)

· Periyar lake

Enjoy boat ride (boat Tkt extra) – Visiting Time: 7:30am – 5pm.Entry fee: 150/- per person for boat by KTDC and 250/- per person for boat by forest department.

On Optional cost –

Visiting time: 10am – 5pm.

Half an hour ride and photo session: 800/- per person.

Elephant Feeding and bathing: 1500/- per person.

One Hr with elephant ride, elephant bath, commands, communication: 2500/-per person.

Half an hour with elephant and elephant bath, commands, communication, timber dragging, feeding and elephant shower: 4000/- per person. (Ticket will be extra).

Thekkady to Kovalam
Morning after breakfast checkout from the hotel then, proceed to Kovalam sightseeing -Kovalam is internationally renowned beach has been favourite haunt of tourists. Kovalam consists of three adjacent crescent beaches they are, Light house beach, Hawa beach and Samudra beach.

· Visit beautiful sunset in the evening.

Kovalam
Morning after breakfast proceed to Trivandrum day trip.

· Padmanabha swami temple

The temple located inside the east fort. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Temple is blend of the Kerala and Dravidian style of architecture. It is known for its mural paintings and stone carving. (Dress code-Dothy for men and Saree for women). Darshan time will be 03:15 AM to 12 PM & 05 PM to 07:20 PM.

· Napier Museum

(Entry fee- 20 per person-Visiting time-10am to 5pm except Monday and Wednesday)

· Trivandrum Zoo. Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Kovalam to Poovar.
Morning after breakfast checkout from the hotel then, proceed to Poovar – Poovar is one among the natural wonders where the lake, river, sea and beach meet the land. Poovar is unspoilt and unexplored and opening out to the sea and a dream golden sand beach.

· Day at leisure.

· Golden sand beach

· Visit Poovar beach in the evening to view beautiful sunset. Overnight stay at Poovar.

Poovar – Trivandrum
